  • Kent District Library Krause Branch Events

    • Baby Time: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver. No registration required. 

    • Rhyme Time Music and Movement: 11:30am-12pm. Move and groove together with action rhymes, songs, games and hands-on musical activities that will help children develop motor, listening and literacy skills. 

  • Kent District Library Comstock Park Branch Events 3943 W River Dr NE, Comstock Park, MI.

    • Story Time: 10-11am. Nurture your child’s love of books and build early literacy skills through stories, rhymes, music and movement. No registration required.

  • Kent District Library East Grand Rapids Branch Events 746 Lakeside Dr SE, East Grand Rapids, MI

    • Baby Time: 9:30-10am & 10:30-11am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.

  • Oberon Day at the Corner Bar: 11am. They'll have $3 pours of Oberon all day long!

    • Classic movies of the Silver Screen: 2-4pm. Join other classic movie lovers to watch films from the golden age of the silver screen.

  • Trail Tuesdays @ Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten.

  • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • BUTTERFLIES ARE BLOOMING: 9am - 5pm. This highly anticipated event, the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the United States, showcases the stunning diversity and intricate beauty of butterflies and moths. Take home milkweed seeds for monarch butterflies along with a fun butterfly craft. Explore our West Michigan Habitats exhibit to see life-size dioramas of animals in their natural environments.

  • Welcome the Bunny to Woodland Mall: 11am-1pm. Enjoy a fun-filled day with the Bunny, plus special appearances by Elsa and Spiderman! Sunday, March 30

  • Night of the Butterflies: 6-8pm. Free for members and guests covered by membership level. Members may bring registered nonmember guests and pay for their daily admission price entry at time of check-in. This family-friendly evening features access to the Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming exhibition—bring your flashlights to find butterflies as they roost in the trees—family-friendly entertainment, a themed art activity, and light refreshments.

  • Spring Break: Game Day at the Grand Rapids Public Museum: Bring a friend and several fun games throughout the Museum and in their newly redesigned arcade.
