Baby Time: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver. No registration required.
Rhyme Time Music and Movement: 11:30am-12pm. Move and groove together with action rhymes, songs, games and hands-on musical activities that will help children develop motor, listening and literacy skills.

Nutrition Myths Debunked: 6:30pm. Do you feel confused about all the conflicting nutrition information out there? Tired of feeling guilty about what to eat? Kristi Veltkamp, a Registered Dietitian, will sift through misconceptions on healthy eating and empower you to make healthy choices for you and your family.
Trail Tuesdays @ Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten.

Friday, March 14
St. Patricks Day Pre-Party at Third Nature Brewing Company: 11am-9pm. Kick-off SPD weekend with a night of live Celtic music, Irish dancers, green beer and Irish themed food! Celtic and folk band, Whorled, will be here for an open session from 4:45-5:45 pm for any and all who wish to bring their favorite Irish instrument and play together prior to the band performing from 6-8:15 pm. Irish dancers will be joining them. Bring the kids and dance along!
Popcorn and Wine Pairings at St. Julian Winery Tasting Room: 8pm. This is going to be a popping good time! Join them at their Rockford tasting room for a savor specially curated flights of dry or sweet wines, perfectly complemented by popcorn from The Grand Rapids Popcorn Company. This delightful popcorn and wine pairing will be available all weekend long.
St. Paddy’s Play Day at Backyard Fun Zone: 11am-4pm. Kids can jump, climb, and play on our showroom playsets while enjoying some festive fun games. Wear green and get half off Pay-for-Play!

Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.
BUTTERFLIES ARE BLOOMING: 9am - 5pm. This highly anticipated event, the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the United States, showcases the stunning diversity and intricate beauty of butterflies and moths. Butterflies Are Blooming invites visitors to celebrate the unique spectacle of lepidopteran flight and the exquisite patterns of their wings in the lush environment of the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory.
Sugarbush Festival at Blandford Nature Center: 10am-2pm. The 55th year of celebrating the sweet arrival of spring! Learn the maple sugaring process through Sugarbush demonstrations & techniques including a taste test in our Sugarhouse. Activities include wildlife encounters, maple cotton candy, games/crafts, and more. Check-in and walk-in registration will be located in front of the Visitor Center. There will be no other activities at the Blandford Nature Center Farm. Online pre-registration is optional, but recommended.

Irish Off Ionia: 11am-9pm. One of Michigan’s most beloved St. Patrick’s Day traditions is getting a fresh new look for 2025! Formerly known as Irish On Ionia, the festival is rebranding as Irish Off Ionia and moving to Calder Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids. The zero-waste festival will take place on will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 11 AM to 9 PM, bringing all the Irish spirit to an exciting new venue. The new location at Calder Plaza will provide more space, a better guest experience, and an opportunity to enhance the festival while keeping it at the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Irish Jig 5k: 6:30 - 8:15am. Corewell Health invites you to join us for the 41st annual Irish Jig! Start off the running season with Corewell Health Irish Jig 5K, one of Michigan’s premier 5K (3.1 mile) road races. This USA Track & Field Certified Course that takes you through the beautiful East Grand Rapids community and brings out thousands of participants and supporters. 47th Annual Grand Rapids St. Patrick's Day Parade: 11am. The parade begins at 11:AM near Fulton and Sheldon streets, and can be viewed all along Monroe Center St. SW, ending with a Cultural Presentation at Rosa Parks Circle!
