Monday, Feb 24

  • Kent District Library Krause Branch Events

    • Baby Time: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver. No registration required. 

    • Rhyme Time Music and Movement: 11:30am-12pm. Move and groove together with action rhymes, songs, games and hands-on musical activities that will help children develop motor, listening and literacy skills. 

  • Kent District Library Comstock Park Branch Events 3943 W River Dr NE, Comstock Park, MI.

    • Story Time: 10-11am. Nurture your child’s love of books and build early literacy skills through stories, rhymes, music and movement. No registration required.

  • Kent District Library East Grand Rapids Branch Events 746 Lakeside Dr SE, East Grand Rapids, MI

    • Baby Time: 9:30-10am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.

Tuesday, Feb 25

  • Kent District Library Krause Branch Events

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Nurture your toddler's love of books through music, movement and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills.

  • Trail Tuesdays @ Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten.

  • Winter Nights at Meijer Gardens Tropical Tuesday: 5:30-8:30pm. Catch a wave out of the winter blahs into a beachside hideaway! Enjoy the tropically inspired atmosphere, drinks, and food while grooving to The Moonrays—big kahunas of vintage 1960s instrumental surf rock. Before the shows, enjoy seasonal food and drinks at the James & Shirley Balk Café pop-up. Don’t miss out on this eclectic series of entertainment! Arrive early to savor a bite at the café before the performances begin! Admission is free for members and included with general admission for other guests.

  • Postpartum Prep class at Aptitude Fitness + Yoga: 6pm. This class is designed for expecting mothers to prepare for postpartum recovery and wellness. Learn about proper breathing techniques, pelvic floor exercises, and postpartum self-care. Don't miss out on this opportunity to invest in your postpartum health! Register here.

  • Swing Dance at the Grand Rapids Public Museum: 7-9:30pm. 3 dance floors of instruction and dance at one of the largest dance groups in the area. Learn swing, east coast, west coast, line dancing and even contra. All Ages. No Partner Needed. Cost $10.

  • Cozy Tales for Chilly Days Preschool Story Time: 10:30am at Meijer Gardens. Their popular preschool story time is back for a 15th season of inspiring young readers with fun stories about art, plants, animals, the natural environment and more. (Best for ages 2–5)

Wednesday, Feb 26

Thursday, Feb 27

  • Winter Wanderlust Downtown Rockford: 5-9pm. Rockford Boutiques and businesses are joining together to bring you a night of shopping, discounts, sipping & snacking, and spending time with your gal pals. Tickets are $35 each with the first 100 ticket holders receiving a swag bag valued at over $150! Purchase tickets here.

  • Museum Adventure After Dark: 6-9pm. Delight in discovery again while supporting the Grand Rapids Public Museum at this 18+ casual and interactive fundraiser. Ticket Cost: $55, with a discounted rate of $50 for GRPM members.

  • #imomsohard The Flashback Tour: 7pm GLC Live at 20 Monroe. The Meet and Greet takes place after the show. Purchase tickets online.

Saturday, March 1

  • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • BUTTERFLIES ARE BLOOMING: 9am - 5pm. This highly anticipated event, the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the United States, showcases the stunning diversity and intricate beauty of butterflies and moths. Butterflies Are Blooming invites visitors to celebrate the unique spectacle of lepidopteran flight and the exquisite patterns of their wings in the lush environment of the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory.

  • Meet Spider-Man and Elsa: 12-4pm at The Pump House Rockford. Looking for something fun to do with your kids?! We have the perfect free event! Come join us at The Rockford Pump House for our 2nd annual Princess & Superhero Day on Saturday March 1st from 12-4 pm! Your kids can meet and get a photo with Elsa & Spider-Man and even receive a free signed autograph!   • World of Winter Noodle Fest: 11am-6pm at Calder Plaza (299 Ottawa Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI). This event will host 17 unique noodle dishes. Vote for the best noodle dish in West Michigan!

Sunday, March 2

  • One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure (planetarium show) at the Grand Rapids Public Museum: 11am. Young audience members will be thrilled when they find themselves on Sesame Street with their famous friends, Big Bird and Elmo. Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu blast off on an imaginary trip to the Moon and when they return home to Earth everyone discovers that, no matter where we live, we all share the same sky. Recommended for ages 8 and younger, family audiences.

  • Sunday Night Crazy Rates @ Cannonsburg: 4-9pm. Sunday Night Crazy Rates are back! Rates are crazy cheap and include rentals and group lessons. Here are the details: Day: Every Sunday Time: 4pm-9pm, group lessons from 5pm-8pm Prices: $40 (11+ years), $20 (10 and under). *Helmets are still full price. What’s included: Lift ticket, rental and group lesson. Important: Crazy Rates are WALK-UP.
